- From Emily: There is also a fairly epic video on the Sand Moulding of a very large sculpture, which, as Emogene observed in her email, really underscores why an artist might have handed off the casting of such a piece to a separate group of artisans. Lots of hands go into making the finished product. I think it's interesting to compare these Sand videos with the video Donna sent, as I feel they are on opposite ends of the complexity spectrum, but based on the same principles.
